in the quiet moments
I've been working on knitting Ian a sweater for the Fall. It's the Classic Cardigan (I'm thinking that a cardigan will be easier to put on him than a pull-over style) from Essential Baby, and I'm using a cream colored cotton yarn that used to be a sweater of mine that was always a bit too short.
I'm knitting it up on silky smooth bamboo needles, and the combination of holding the soft cotton, bamboo and baby skin is so relaxing.

Can't wait to see the finished cardigan. I LOVE babies in cardies. Just so cuddly and warm. And the picture is precious. Love me some baby knees and bitty toes.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely. My mama knit a cardigan for my baby, and it was so nice. Enjoy that wee babe.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. It's going to be so lovely for the fall. I still have a few handmade cardigans my mother had for me when I was a baby, and I've loved putting them on my own little girls. I know you'll enjoy putting that on your little one, and someday he might enjoy doing the same thing for his children. It's beautiful. :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be a special gift~
